The Greater Response to Seasons of Stillness and Life's Pauses

When life feels still, we equate it oftentimes with feeling stuck. But even in the stillness, there is movement that you don’t see, growth that is happening, chapters that are unfolding, and timing that is just as it should be.

If you’re in a season of “pause”, take a deep breath. Find beauty in the pause. Find rest in the pause. Find strength in the pause.

"Amidst all the pressure to keep going and going, may you also take the time to learn the art of being...For beyond your accomplishments and your calendars, and your lists, you were made with purpose and intention to reflect glorious light and to abide in Love that reminds you even in the pause you are still where you need to be."  - Morgan Harper Nichols, All Along You Were Blooming

I’m pressing pause on a handful of things in my life and if we're being honest, it’s harder than I thought. BUT, I’m learning too, that sometimes it’s in the pause, that I somehow see clearer, think deeper, experience more, and feel more connected to the things that matter most. I somehow feel that it helps me be grounded right where I am and trust that it's right where I need to be.

Because even in the pause, there is still movement, there is good, there is peace.  And perhaps, right where you are, in the stillness, is exactly where your hearts needs to be and exactly where you're supposed to be.
